Problem:
A new $80M facility was being built in another state to increase production of 26 existing, nationally branded, retail food products in a product line. The goal was to ensure the customer could not detect a difference in quality or taste of the 26 products even though the product would be coming from a new facility with different processing methods. Production was fast and the waste from poor product could fill a land fill in a few hours if this process did not go well.
