Nine (9) ideas were tested to improve employee satisfaction.  Of the 9 ideas tested, 3 of the ideas helped, 2 hurt and the rest made no difference.  The results were an increase of 12% of overall employee satisfaction.  Two ergonomic/safety ideas were tested; one of the safety ideas had a major positive impact; the second safety idea was a very significant hurt.
